As me

Cold and bare like the mountain

Calm and clear as the sea

I will be the only man

And you will be as me

    1. Thank you. I had these very idealized images of being when I was young. I would focus and sculpt them and try to reflect them, chipping away at some imagined form of myself until I mirrored them. I suppose this would collapse onto a pop phrase like materialization in American hocus pocus. Before that craze, during my adolescence, I matched it with the notion of yidam.

      1. I think that process may be a common instinctual one in many cultures, but much more refined in some, particularly when done consciously. Thank you for sharing your experience and your words.
